Alpha Gordon Player Model by Ambient.Impact ------------------------------------------- Some have dubbed this "Lumberjack Gordon" or "Ivan the Spacebiker". Older gamers will recognize him as the original Gordon Freeman model, from the (thankfully) scrapped alpha phase of Half-Life's development. This model was thought to be locked away on some of VALVe's backup files, never to see the light of day again. But, when VALVe introduced Steam, a new file named "doctor.mdl" found its way into Half-Life's game files. After some investigation, and a modified model viewer to view the older file type, it was discovered that this was indeed the alpha Gordon model.
